Eurovision is here!
Eurovision is in Malmö all week! Double Standard will be open late all week and look for us next weekend at the Mitt Mollan Spring Market.
Eurovision is almost here!
As part of the publicity campaign before Eurovision, Alayna was interviewed by Malmötown, the official Malmö visitors site, to see what a typical day is like for her. Here she mentions some of our friends and neighbors.
Eurovision is a televised song competition featuring contestants from 39 countries. The host country is the home country of the previous years winner. Last year Swedish singer Loreen won, and the 2013 competition will be held here in Malmö. The added publicity to the city is great and shops, restaurants, and hotels are sprucing up for their big moment in the spotlight. Double Standard will be open extra hours and will be hosting a Happy Hour the week of the Eurovision.
Independent stores offers unique product and great gift ideas and they rely on customer service to attract clients–not expensive ad campaigns. Buying local helps your money stay in Malmö and supports other creative folks. From the upcoming Vårmarknad at Mitt Möllan to the lunchtime dance parties at stpln there are lots of unique creative resources in Malmö.
Check out some of our friends mentioned in the article HERE and stop by Double Standard to check out great merchandise that you wont find anywhere else.
